Happy Fathers’ Day

Each country has its own special holiday for fathers, and August 8th is Dad's Day in Taiwan. No matter what nationality or race, The sound, PaPa, is the very first word that many newborn babies naturally pronounce after they come to the world. That first “PaPa” is calling for the deepest memory in the genes we all share, is calling for the connection of the family, and is calling the love for many years to build.

This Daddy species is truly presented to the world in many different ways. Some fathers are not good at words but willing to deliver a basket of fruit collection when seeing children off to school a thousand miles away. Some fathers are like the ones in "American Girl", who have been harsh to children but still fearlessly face the hardest moment to protect the whole family. Some fathers are like the ones in “Life is Beautiful” who face life and death at any time, but only display the beauty of the world to their kids, hoping that they grow up with solely happiness. The others are like the Kung-Fu master in "Push Hands', who has been well recognized in old times but tries every effort to integrate into the child’s new life.

The positions of fathers and children have been changing. One day we will grow strong and tall and look at our Dads differently at different angles. Perhaps one day, we will all become fathers or mothers and smile with understanding.
