🎬 Spring Film Festival 2025 Recap: A Season of Storytelling and Connection

Thank you to everyone who joined us this spring for an unforgettable series of screenings at our Spring Film Festival! From breathtaking landscapes to deeply personal journeys, each film brought a unique piece of Taiwan to Boston—and we’re so grateful you were there to experience it with us.

🌿 Good Morni MIT (April 3, 2025)

We ventured high into the mountains of Taiwan—over 10,000 feet above sea level—to discover the elusive Formosan salamander. Good Morni MIT reminded us of the incredible biodiversity Taiwan has to offer, and the importance of preserving these rare ecosystems.

❤️ Come Home, My Child (April 26, 2025)

This moving documentary brought many of us to tears. Through generations of hardship and healing, Come Home, My Child told a story of love, resilience, and the enduring strength of family.

Wild Road & The Tale of Ino Yumin (May 08, 2025)

In Wild Road, we followed the remarkable team at WildOne Wildlife Hospital as they rescue and rehabilitate injured animals in eastern Taiwan. Paired with The Tale of Ino Yumin, we met Ino, an elder of Taiwan’s Atayal tribe, whose wisdom and reverence for nature are now being passed on to a new generation.

Together, these films offered more than entertainment—they sparked important conversations around conservation, cultural heritage, and the power of storytelling to inspire change.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back this fall for our 7th Annual Taiwan Film Festival of Boston—stay tuned!
