SCREENING

When/where is the event?

The screening is happening at AMC Boston Common 19 (175 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02111). Check out our PROGRAM page to get more information!

Parking?

Are there subtitles in the movies?

Yes! All the films come with English and/or Mandarin subtitles.

Can I reserve a seat for the screening while purchasing the tickets?

No, the seating is first come first serve base.

Do you accept walk-in audiences?

Yes! However, ticket selling will end early if the tickets are sold out.

How do I check-in?

Once you arrived at the AMC theater, please go to the regular AMC ticket entrance and tell a staff member that you are here for the Taiwan Film Festival of Boston. The staff will guide you to the upper level for TFFB ticket check-in. 

If I purchased a pass, can I leave AMC during the event and come back later?

Yes, you may. We will validate access for each film and provide a wristband for you to re-enter the theater!

How can I attend the director forums?

The post-screening forums will begin right after the movie screening. Audiences who purchased the screening admission (the corresponding films / day passes) are invited to attend.

Will you record/live stream the director forums?

No. The forums are exclusive for the audiences who attend in the event in person

By attending the event, you acknowledge that Taiwan Film Festival of Boston expects all participants at Taiwan Film Festival of Boston events to comply with CDC, state and local COVID-related guidelines, rules and requirements, which continue to evolve, that you are attending at your own risk and that you release Taiwan Film Festival of Boston, its officers, directors, agents, employees and assigns from any liability related to COVID-19 which might occur as a result of your attendance.

ANNUAL RECEPTION

When/where is the event?

The reception is happening on Saturday October 1st 18:30 at Pellas Gallery (114 Newbury St, Boston, MA 02116). Check out our RECEPTION page to get more information!

What food/drinks will be served?

We’ll prepare a sufficient amount of hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Complimentary alcoholic beverages will be served (Don’t forget to bring your IDs!). Alternatively, Bubble Tea and soft drinks will be available as well!

I’m curious about raffle contests/silent auctions. What’s that?

We were able to receive donations from generous local businesses this year. To further support our organization, we’ll be hosting a raffle contest, where you’ll receive 1 ticket for entry and will be eligible to purchase more tickets to increase your chances of winning a prize. Additionally, there will be a silent auction for certain high valued items, where you’ll be invited to bid for the prize. The prize will go to the highest bidder.
